Last State of the Union Address 2016
The last State of the Union Address by President Barack Obama televised this day, the 12th day of January, 2016 was an amazing, heartfelt speech by a good, honest man and a great leader. How could anyone watch and listen to this speech and not walk away with the utmost respect and admiration for this man.
All the negative crap that the Republicans have thrown at this President only proves that these politicians are nothing more than a gang of elementary schoolyard bullies who are so insecure with themselves and their lack of personal power that they have to resort to lies and corruption to be noticed.
Obama speaks out for every American, not just the wealthy, or the influential, or the sorority of silver spoons and fat frat boys who believe THEY are entitled to have it all even though they do not deserve it. Obama speaks for all races, religions, sexes, parties, and classes of human beings across this country.
And he does it because he honestly believes in equality for all; and that these words from the Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” are the heart and soul of America.
Give it up all ye Republicans who call yourselves Christians while demanding that we “carpet bomb” all the territories controlled by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS); killing millions of innocent men, women, and children. Give it up ye Republican Christians who scream that abortion is a sin while you throw five-year-old orphans and Syrian babies back across the border because “any one of them could be connected to terrorism.”
Give it up ye old God groupies of the GOP who poison the water and the land with fracking in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Texas, South Carolina, California, New York, Wyoming, and God only knows how many other states. While you honk like a gaggle of inebriated geese spouting scriptures about “A land that the Lord your God cares for,” [Deuteronomy 11:12], you piss out more chemicals in our rivers and lakes, then dump thousands of gallons of oil into our oceans killing every living creature and the “land that the Lord your God cares for.”
You hate Obama because he’s BETTER than you; smarter, wiser, more educated, and more experienced in everything you are not! And, because he’s a BLACK MAN who’s better than you. And ye old racist, bigoted Republicans, you actually believe that no person of color could possibly be better than you.
Somewhere in that twisted, little universe you occupy, you and your cohorts believe that God is a white man who rules the biggest men’s club of all time and only pure, white, Christian men who believe and follow Jesus are allowed to join; therefore, only these brothers are worthy of God’s blessings. Well, guess what boys, God is a woman and Jesus was black (well, almost black).
Jesus had the walnut colored skin of the Jews–not the lighter, olive skin tones (or tan, or beige, or white) as many have tried so desperately to prove. There are drawings, carvings, paintings, frescoes, and statues that show the Hebrews/Jews of that time, and their features and coloring were closer to those of the African race than those of the moderately olive-colored Mediterranean skin tones.
So, give it up GOP. You are NOT special! You’re just like the rest of us!
